19.03 – Israel Women League : Elitzur Ramla Vs Ramat Hen – Thursday @ 19:00 CET
Written by TOM Wednesday, 18 March 2009 This game will end the regular season in Israel and on Monday the playoffs will start. Ramla is now ranked in the fourth place and Ramat Hen in the second place. If Ramla will win this game they will end in the third place and will meet in the semi finals they will meet….Ramat Hen. It is close to miracle after what Ramla went through this season to be in this position. The strange roster that Ramla has now contains lots of forwards but not shooting guards or pure center. The reason for the present chemistry is the terrific coach of Ramla, Eli Rabbi , is doing an excellent job and knows to get the best from his players. Ramla won five of their last six games and looks better and better from one game to another. Ramat Hen has the most talented roster in Israel but something is not communicating right after the team won the cup. The arrival of Shay Doron caused Ivory Latta to score less and the arrival of Ayana Walker caused Latoya Pringle to play not as good as before Walker's arrival. Ramat Hen won last Monday Bnot Hasharon 72-70 after a dramatic game but the team did not play good and had a lot of luck that Charde Houston played the worst game in Israel this season.
The two games between those teams this season ended with 4 points win margin to Ramla and 3 points win margin to Ramat Hen but the shape of Ramla is better and they got the right momentum. I predict that Ramla can win here by 4-6 points.
Our Pick – Elitzur Ramla (+2.5) @ Max Stakes
