LSU - 4.86
USC - 5.42
Alabama - 6.20
Oklahoma - 11.54
Florida State - 12.11
Oregon - 12.26
Virginia Tech - 19.90
Georgia - 20.18
Arkansas - 26.24
Texas - 31.96
Notre Dame - 34.32
Clemson - 40.03
Miejsce to gwarantowało udział w jednym z BCS Bowls

Mecz firmowany nazwą Hall Of Fame czyli Arizona Cardinals vs New Orlean Saints.

Gdzieś u buka widziałem over 34,5, może to warto spróbować...

Trochę pechowo z typem, bo do przerwy były 24 pts.

FOOTBALL is BACK !!!
Nareszcie.

WAS - BUF
??? W zespole BUF nie zagra kontuzjowany WR David Nelson.

WAS(-2,5)@1,90 (7:6)
Betsson

ATL - BAL

SF(-3)@1,98 (17-6)

Coach DET Jim Schwartz zawsze poważnie podchodzi do spotkań przedsezonowych i pomimo paru znaczących kontuzji, powinni sobie spokojnie poradzić ze słabiutkim CLE.

Podstawowy QB Matt Shaub zagra około 12-15 zagrywek w meczu.
W CAR na pewno nie zagra LB Jon Beason. Nie znalazłem info ile zagra podstawowa ofensywa.

The top 10 offensive backfields
10. Kansas State
QB Collin Klein and TB John Hubert and Angelo Pease
Klein isn't much of a passer, but he had a marvelous season on the ground last season. He rushed for 1,141 yards and set an NCAA single-season record for rushing TDs by a quarterback with 27. He scored at least one TD in 12 of K-State's 13 games and had multiple rushing scores in seven contests, including five against Texas A&M. Klein also threw for 1,918 yards and 13 scores. Hubert ran for 970 yards but just three touchdowns last season; he had three 100-yard games, including a 166-yard outing against Miami. Pease's 2011 season was ruined by injuries after he transferred in from junior college. He was a quarterback in high school in Cairo, Ga., playing for the sublimely named Cairo Syrupmakers.
9. Fresno State
QB Derek Carr and TB Robbie Rouse
As everyone should know, Carr is the younger brother of former No. 1 NFL pick David Carr. Derek was a first-time starter last season and threw for 3,544 yards and 26 TDs as a sophomore; he also completed 62.6 percent of his passes. Rouse, a senior, will be a three-year starter for the Bulldogs. He rushed for 1,549 yards and 13 TDs last season. In two games against Big Six foes (Nebraska and Ole Miss), Rouse ran for 292 yards and a TD. He has 3,157 career rushing yards, third-most among active players, behind only Montee Ball (3,310) and Denard Robinson (3,229).
8. Nebraska
QB Taylor Martinez and TB Rex Burkhead
As with K-State's Klein, Martinez has a ways to go as a passer (though not as far as Klein) but is a dangerous runner. He rushed for 874 yards and nine TDs last season, giving him 1,839 yards and 21 TDs in his career. He has passed for 3,720 yards, with 23 TDs but also 15 picks. Martinez has a nice arm, but isn't all that accurate (career completion rate of 57.4). Burkhead seemed to like the move to the Big Ten last season; he rambled for 1,357 yards and 15 TDs. He's also a solid receiver.
7. LSU
QB Zach Mettenberger and TBs Spencer Ware, Michael Ford and Kenny Hilliard
Mettenberger is far from a sure thing. He definitely has the physical tools, but he also is the guy who enrolled early out of junior college in 2011 so he could go through spring practice but never could beat out Jordan Jefferson or Jarrett Lee. But LSU's tailbacks are a sure thing. No team in the nation is deeper at the position. The Tigers return four backs who rushed for at least 336 yards and seven touchdowns and have three who ran for at least 539 yards and seven scores.
6. TCU
QB Casey Pachall and TBs Waymon James and Matthew Tucker
Pachall exceeded expectations last season, his first as the starter. He threw for 2,921 yards and 25 TDs, including five (which tied a school single-game record) in a victory over Boise State. He also ran for four touchdowns. Pachall set school single-season records for completions (228), completion percentage (66.5) and passing yards. TCU would've been ranked higher on this list if not for TB Ed Wesley deciding to leave school for the NFL (he wasn't taken in the supplemental draft). James was TCU's leading rusher last season (875 yards), while Tucker led the Horned Frogs in rushing TDs (12). Together, that duo rushed for 1,577 yards and 18 scores.
5. Alabama
QB A.J. McCarron and TB Eddie Lacy
McCarron is not overly gifted physically, but he does have a nice arm, a great understanding of the game and – oh, yeah – a national title ring. He threw for 2,634 yards, 16 touchdowns and five interceptions last season; he also completed 66.8 percent of his passes. Lacy looks as if he will be the latest Tide tailback to go from key reserve to focal point of the offense, joining Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson. Lacy ran for 674 yards and seven TDs last season. Richardson went from 700 yards and six TDs in 2010 to 1,679 yards and 21 TDs in '11. And Ingram went from 728 yards and 12 TDs in 2008 to 1,658 yards and 17 TDs in '09. We're not saying Lacy will make that type of jump, but if he doesn't rush for 1,200 yards, it will be a surprise. There's also excellent depth at tailback, which is normal for a Nick Saban-coached team.
4. Clemson
QB Tajh Boyd and TB Andre Ellington
Boyd proved to be a great fit for coordinator Chad Morris' offense; Boyd threw for 3,828 yards and 33 TDs and also ran for five scores last season, Morris' first at the school and Boyd's first as the starter. Boyd had four 300-yard games and seven times threw at least three TD passes in a contest. In his four 300-yard games, he threw 14 TD passes and just two interceptions. He guided Clemson to the ACC title last season. Ellington should again put up good numbers, too. He ran for 1,178 yards and 11 TDs last season, and he had five 100-yard games, including a 212-yard outing against Maryland. He put up those numbers despite an ankle injury that caused him to miss one game and hampered him in a few others.
3. Michigan
QB Denard Robinson and TBs Fitzgerald Toussaint and Thomas Rawls
Michigan fans get to enjoy Robinson for one more season. He ran for 1,176 yards (5.3 yards per carry) and 16 touchdowns, and also threw for 2,173 yards and 20 scores last season; remember that was in a pro-style offense, one that is not necessarily best-suited for his skill set. In his career, "Shoelace" has passed for 4,931 yards and 40 touchdowns and rushed for 3,229 yards and 35 more scores. He has a chance of becoming the NCAA's leading career rusher among quarterbacks; he is 1,252 yards away from breaking the record of 4,480 yards held by former West Virginia star Pat White. Toussaint ran for 1,041 yards and nine TDs and was especially strong down the stretch, rushing for 708 yards and five touchdowns in the final six games. But he has been indefinitely suspended after a DUI arrest and seems likely to miss a game or two. Sophomore Thomas Rawls, who had 13 carries last season, is Toussaint's backup. He is a physical runner with some speed.
2. Arkansas
QB Tyler Wilson and TBs Knile Davis and Dennis Johnson
Wilson is a strong-armed guy who threw for 3,638 yards and 24 touchdowns last season, his first as the starter. He threw at least one TD pass in 12 of the Hogs' 13 games and had nine games with at least two TDs. He also had four contests with at least 300 yards. He should benefit from the return of Davis, who missed last season with an ankle injury. He rushed for 1,322 yards and 13 TDs in 2010 despite getting just 20 total carries in the first four games. He had six 100-yard games. Davis is a physical runner who also has breakaway speed. Johnson is a shifty guy with the speed to turn the corner and is a top-notch receiver.
1. USC
QB Matt Barkley and TBs Curtis McNeal and Silas Redd
Barkley heads into the season as the frontrunner for the Heisman, and his decision to stay in school for his senior season made USC a top contender for the national title. Barkley, who will be a four-year starter for the Trojans, completed 69.1 percent of his passes and threw for 3,528 yards, 39 touchdowns and seven interceptions in 2011. He should graduate with school career records in completions, TDs, passing yards and total offense. Redd's transfer from Penn State gives the Trojans two returning 1,000-yard rushers. On a Nittany Lions team with shaky quarterback play and a mediocre passing attack, Redd ran for 1,241 yards and seven touchdowns last season; he had six 100-yard games. He would've been the focal point of Penn State's offense; he won't be the focal point of the Trojans' offense and seems unlikely to match his production from last season. But his presence gives USC coach Lane Kiffin another toy to play with offensively. McNeal ran for 1,005 yards and six TDs last season (he had just 24 carries in the first five games), and gives the Trojans an experienced and productive backup.

The top 10 receiving units

10. BYU
WRs Ross Apo, J.D. Falslev and Cody Hoffman and TE Marcus Mathews
Apo (6 feet 3/207 pounds) and Hoffman (6-4/215) are a fast, physical duo; they combined for 95 receptions for 1,396 yards and 19 TDs last season despite playing with two starting quarterbacks. Apo, a sophomore from the Dallas area, originally committed to Texas before signing with the Cougars. Hoffman, a junior, led BYU in receiving and had 1,825 all-purpose yards, the sixth-best single-season mark in school history. He also had three 100-yard receiving games, including a 167-yard outing against TCU. Falslev, a junior, is an effective slot receiver. Mathews isn't much of a blocker, but he is an effective receiver who can get downfield.
9. Florida State
WRs Greg Dent, Christian Green, Rashad Greene, Willie Haulstead, Kenny Shaw and Rodney Smith and TE Nick O'Leary
FSU is the only team on this list without a true go-to receiver. No matter: The Seminoles are loaded at the position, with five guys with 50-catch potential. Greene, a sophomore, led the team in receptions (38), yards (596) and receiving TDs (seven) last season as a true freshman. Smith, a senior, is a big (6-6/220) target who has good hands. Haulstead, a junior, is one to watch; he is an athletic and physical 230-pounder who missed last season with concussion issues. O'Leary, the grandson of Jack Nicklaus, has the speed to get deep and should become a bigger part of the offense this fall.
8. TCU
WRs Josh Boyce, LaDarius Brown, Brandon Carter and Skye Dawson
Boyce, a junior, is one of the most underrated receivers nationally. He is heading into his third season as a starter and had 61 catches for 998 yards (16.4 yards per catch) and nine touchdowns last season; he was 2 yards shy of becoming just the second 1,000-yard receiver in school history. Dawson, a senior, and Carter, a sophomore, combined for 68 receptions, 852 yards and eight TDs last season. Brown is a talented redshirt freshman who is both big (6-4/220 pounds) and fast.
7. Baylor
WRs Tevin Reese, Lanear Sampson and Terrance Williams
The Bears lost Kendall Wright, the leading receiver in school history, but coach Art Briles said his team will be even deeper at wide receiver this season. Williams, a senior, quietly put together an 11-TD season in 2011, catching 59 passes for 957 yards (16.2 ypc). Reese is a prime-time deep threat; he caught 51 passes for 877 yards (17.2 ypc) and seven TDs. Sampson, a senior, was the Bears' No. 4 receiver last season but still managed 42 catches for 572 yards and three TDs. Reese, a junior nicknamed "Sweet Feet," is a phenomenal athlete (4.31 seconds in the 40, 45.5-inch vertical leap, 11 feet 4 feet in the broad jump) who could explode on the scene this fall. Baylor is the only team on this list with a new quarterback this season.
6. Oklahoma
WRs Justin Brown, Trey Metoyer, Jaz Reynolds and Kenny Stills
Stills, who had 61 receptions and eight TDs last season, should become the go-to guy with the graduation of Ryan Broyles. Stills, a junior, has 122 receptions and 13 TDs in his career. Metoyer was a five-star signee in 2011 who didn't qualify; he got his academics in order, enrolled in January and had a strong spring practice. He is expected to make a big impact this fall. Brown, a senior, transferred from Penn State earlier this month; he had 35 receptions for 517 yards for the Nittany Lions last season. If Brown adapts quickly to a vastly more sophisticated passing offense, he should have a 50-catch season. Reynolds, a projected starter, and Trey Franks were reinstated after offseason suspensions, but both will miss multiple games. That duo combined for 63 receptions last season.
5. Texas Tech
WRs Darrin Moore, Alex Torres and Eric Ward
As usual, Texas Tech will have a deep receiving corps. The top three receivers return: Ward (84 receptions), Torres (51) and Moore (47). Moore was bothered by injuries last season and missed three full games; if he is healthy, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him lead the team in receptions and be an all-league selection. There is ample depth at the position, and RBs Eric Stephens and DeAndre Washington are solid receivers, too.
4. Clemson
WRs Jaron Brown, DeAndre Hopkins and Sammy Watkins
Watkins was the best freshman in the nation last season, finishing with 82 receptions for 1,219 yards and 12 scores. He is a big-time deep threat – he had seven plays that covered at least 50 yards – and also is a weapon on sweeps and returns. Hopkins is a more-than-capable No. 2 guy; he had 72 catches for 978 yards and five TDs. Brown had 31 receptions and four TDs.
3. Tennessee
WRs Justin Hunter, Cordarrelle Patterson and Da'Rick Rogers and TE Mychal Rivera
Hunter, a junior, played in just three games last season before suffering a torn ACL and has only 33 career receptions, but those catches have gone for 729 yards (22.1 yards per catch) and nine TDs, and he already is showing up as a first-round pick in numerous mock drafts for 2013. Rogers, a big, physical target, had 67 receptions for 1,040 yards and nine TDs despite seeing constant double-teams after Hunter was hurt. Rogers, also a junior, has spent a lot of time in coach Derek Dooley's doghouse, and his demeanor could be an issue. Rivera, who has good hands, should end up in a lot of mismatches against linebackers. Patterson is a highly touted JC transfer who has good size and speed, and he gives QB Tyler Bray another target.
2. West Virginia
WRs Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey and Ivan McCartney
This trio torched secondaries last season, to the tune of 222 receptions for 3,050 yards and 23 TDs. The Austin-Bailey duo have the most yards of any returning tandem this season. Bailey is the deep threat and has good rapport with QB Geno Smith, not surprising considering they were teammates at Miramar (Fla.) High. Austin is the epitome of what coaches want in a slot receiver, as he is super-quick and tough to get on the ground. McCartney, another former Miramar High star, is a physical receiver who likely will get more opportunities this season.
1. USC
WRs Marqise Lee and Robert Woods
Lee and Woods – who went to high school together at Gardena (Calif.) Junipero Serra – are the best duo at any position nationally. They combined for 184 receptions for 2,435 yards and 26 touchdowns last season. That's more receptions than 24 teams, more yardage than 37 teams and more TDs than 86 teams. Woods, a junior, had four games last season with double-digit receptions and finished the season with 111 catches for 1,292 yards and 15 TDs. He had six games with at least two TD catches. Lee, a sophomore, had 13 receptions that covered at least 30 yards, the most for any returning player nationally. He averaged 15.7 yards per catch and scored 11 times on his 73 receptions.

The top 10 offensive lines
10. Texas
The starters: C Dominic Espinosa, Gs Trey Hopkins and Mason Walters, Ts Josh Cochran and Donald Hawkins
Texas improved its per-game rushing average by 52 yards per game last season, and the big guys up front were a big reason. Walters, a junior who has started every game the past two seasons, is the standout. Espinosa, Hopkins and Cochran also are returning starters; Cochran and Espinosa were among the better freshmen o-linemen in the nation last season. The lone new starter is Hawkins, a JC transfer who might have the highest upside of any tackle in the Big 12. His nickname in junior college in Mississippi was "Franchise."
9. Oregon
The starters: C Hroniss Grasu, Gs Ryan Clanton and Carson York, Ts Nick Cody and Jake Fisher
The Ducks have three returning starters: Cody, Grasu and York. York is the leading contender; he has started 36 games in his career. Clanton is in his second season with the program after transferring in from a junior college. Fisher is a Michigan native who went west for college ball. This is not an overly big line but these guys are agile, which shouldn't surprise anyone considering the amount of pulling they do in the Ducks' spread offense.
8. Georgia Tech
The starters: C Jay Finch, Gs Will Jackson and Omoregie Uzzi, Ts Morgan Bailey and Ray Beno
Four starters return, with Bailey the new starter (actually, he is vying with Tyler Kidney for a starting job). Tech has a strong group of interior linemen, and Uzzi has All-America potential. Uzzi, a senior, and Jackson, a junior, are headed into their third seasons as starters. The Yellow Jackets' triple-option offense requires a lot of cut-blocking, which doesn't always go over too well with opposing defenses. There's no question the Yellow Jackets take advantage of their foes' wariness about that style of blocking.
7. Wisconsin
The starters: C Travis Frederick, Gs Robert Burge and Ryan Groy, Ts Rob Havenstein and Ricky Wagner
Frederick and Wagner are the only returning starters, and Frederick started at guard last season. No matter: Wisconsin churns out offensive linemen like Detroit used to churn out cars. Havenstein and Wagner can block out the sun, and Frederick is one of the top four or five centers nationally.
6. North Carolina
The starters: C Russell Bodine, Gs Travis Bond and Gs Jonathan Cooper, Ts James Hurst and Brennan Williams
The Heels return four starters; Bodine is the new guy, but he made two starts last season and played a lot. Cooper, who will be a four-year starter, has All-America potential and should be a high pick in the 2013 NFL draft. Hurst, a junior, began living up to his five-star recruiting ranking last season. Bond is massive (6-7/345) and a road-grading mauler.
5. Texas A&M
The starters: C Patrick Lewis, Gs Jarvis Harrison and Cedric Ogbuehi, Ts Luke Joeckel and Jake Matthews
The Joeckel-Matthews tackle duo might be the best in the nation. Joeckel has started all 26 games since he set foot on campus; Matthews, whose dad, Bruce, is an NFL Hall of Fame lineman, has started the past 20 games. Both are juniors who could turn pro after this season. Joeckel is a lock to go in the first round, and Matthews also is a possibility. Lewis is going to be a four-year starter; he spent his first two seasons at guard, and is a good run blocker. Harrison and Ogbuehi combined to start 11 games as redshirt freshmen last season, and both have a high ceiling.
4. Michigan State
The starters: C Travis Jackson, Gs Blake Treadwell and Chris McDonald, Ts Fou Fonoti and Dan France
Jackson was one of the best freshmen offensive linemen in the nation last season, and he'll line up next to McDonald, a senior who is going to be a three-year starter for the Spartans and looks to be the best guard in the Big Ten this season. Fonoti stepped into the starting lineup out of junior college last season and helped solidify the line. France is a converted defensive lineman who plays aggressively. Treadwell is the one new starter, and he, too, is a converted defensive lineman.
3. USC
The starters: C Khaled Holmes, Gs Marcus Martin and John Martinez, Ts Kevin Graf and Aundrey Walker
Holmes is considered the best pro prospect among the nation's centers. This will be his third season as a starter for the Trojans and his second at center; he started at guard in 2009. He already is working on his master's degree in communication management. Martin was one of several Trojans who earned freshman All-America honors last season. He was the first true freshman to start at guard for the Trojans since 2004. Four starters return, with Walker new to the group. Walker, a 6-6 sophomore from prep powerhouse Cleveland Glenville, has dropped 50-plus pounds but still tips the scales at around 310 pounds. He looks to have the highest upside of the linemen because of incredibly good footwork. He is one of 17 siblings and the youngest of 14 boys.
2. LSU
The starters: C P.J. Lonergan, Gs Josh Dworaczyk and Josh Williford, Ts Chris Faulk and Alex Hurst
Four starters return: both tackles, Lonergan and Williford. Dworaczyk is a senior who started every game in 2009 and '10 before missing last season with a knee injury suffered in fall camp.He will have to hold off touted sophomore La'El Collins for a starting job. The Faulk-Hurst tackle tandem is one of the two or three best in the nation.
1. Alabama
The starters: C Barrett Jones, Gs Anthony Steen and Chance Warmack, Ts D.J. Fluker and Cyrus Kouandjio
In Jones, Warmack and the massive Fluker, the Tide has three players who will go in the top two rounds of the 2013 NFL draft. Jones is on his third position and he was an All-American at the first two (guard in 2010 and tackle last season, when he won the Outland Trophy). Fluker (6-6/335) flat out mows down people as a run blocker. Warmack frequently is overlooked, but will be a three-year starter and is a road-grader when blocking for the run.

The top 10 defensive lines
10. Utah
Likely starters: Es Nate Fakahafua and Joe Kruger and Ts Dave Kruger and Star Lotulelei
Last season, the Utes' front four had an excellent season as Utah led the Pac-12 in scoring defense and also finished in the top three in the conference in total defense and rush defense. The star is Lotulelei, who is the nation's best defensive lineman. At times, he simply is unblockable. He is incredibly strong, yet also has a quick first step and the ability to be a disruptive pass rusher. He should go in the top five of the 2013 NFL draft. The Kruger brothers are solid complementary players. Dave will be a four-year starter. Coaches like Fakahafua's pass-rush ability.
9. Texas
Likely starters: Es Jackson Jeffcoat and Alex Okafor and Ts Desmond Jackson and Brandon Moore
Texas led the Big 12 and was sixth nationally in rush defense; it also led the league and was 11th nationally in total defense. Coordinator Manny Diaz will have the services of what might be the best end duo in the nation in Jeffcoat and Okafor. They combined for 14.5 sacks, 29 tackles for loss and 16 quarterback hurries last season. Both starting tackles are new. Jackson, a sophomore, looks ready for a breakout season. Moore is a junior college transfer who began his career at Alabama. Chris Whaley, who began his Texas career at tailback, should be an important backup at tackle.
8. Oregon
Likely starters: Es Dion Jordan and Tony Washington and Ts Taylor Hart and Wade Keliipiki
Washington will be the only new starter. Jordan, who arrived on campus as a tight end, is coming off a 7.5-sack season and should get into double-digits this season. Hart and Keliipiki are a formidable duo in the middle, and there is excellent depth at tackle with senior Isaac Remington and junior Ricky Heimuli. Keep an eye on freshman E Arik Armstead, a four-star recruit who enrolled early and went through spring practice. He has great athleticism and could end up beating out Washington.
7. South Carolina
Likely starters: Es Jadeveon Clowney and Devin Taylor and Ts Byron Jerideau and Kelcy Quarles
There's an excellent duo at end in Clowney and Taylor. Clowney was the No. 1 player nationally in the 2011 recruiting class and he had eight sacks last season basically on athleticism alone. As he learns the nuances of the position – oh, my. Taylor is a senior who will be a four-year starter; he has good pass-rush skills and has worked to become solid against the run. Quarles, a sophomore, is a rising star at tackle. Depth at tackle could be a problem, though.
6. Michigan State
Likely starters: Es William Gholston and Marcus Rush and Ts Tyler Hoover and Anthony Rashad White
Gholston, a junior, is an athletic marvel; he can be a pass-rushing terror and finally appears to have developed some consistency. He had 16 tackles for loss last season. Rush is undersized (6-2/250) but relentless and productive (12 tackles for loss). Both starting tackles are new, but both are seniors. White is a 330-pounder who started four times last season and is a good run-stuffer. Hoover is a former end who will have big-time pass-rush skills for a tackle. Sophomore James Kittredge, who sat out last season after transferring from Vanderbilt, could beat out Hoover.
5. Virginia Tech
Likely starters: Es J.R. Collins and James Gayle and Ts Antoine Hopkins and Derrick Hopkins
Virginia Tech was 10th in total defense and seventh in scoring defense last season, and coordinator Bud Foster has a loaded front four because every key performer is back. Gayle and Collins combined for 13 sacks and 23 tackles for loss. The Hopkins brothers are solid in the middle. Antoine is returning from a knee injury that cost him nine games last season; at the time, the brothers were starting next to each other. Luther Maddy and Corey Marshall offer more-than-able support at tackle.
4. Alabama
Likely starters: Es Ed Stinson and Damion Square and T Jesse Williams
There aren't any potential All-Americans in this group, but there are a lot of good players who fit the 3-4 scheme. Square and Williams, an Australian who started at end last season after transferring from junior college, are returning starters. Square is excellent against the run. Williams is strong (a 600-pound bench press) and should be a better fit at nose tackle than he was at end. Stinson, a fourth-year junior, arrived at Alabama as a linebacker but has added almost 60 pounds and will play at 285 this fall. Senior Quinton Dial could beat out Stinson. Good things also are expected from sophomore NT Brandon Ivory.
3. Florida State
Likely starters: Es Brandon Jenkins and Bjoern Werner and Ts Everett Dawkins and Timmy Jernigan
The end duo of Jenkins and Werner should be one of the top four or five nationally. Jenkins is a big-time pass rusher who has improved against the run. Werner is a native of Germany who burst on the scene in a big way last fall. There is tremendous depth and experience at tackle. Jernigan, a sophomore, is a star on the rise. FSU goes six-deep at tackle, and that doesn't include former starter Jacobbi McDaniel, a senior who could end up redshirting because of a leg injury suffered last season.
2. Ohio State
Likely starters: Es John Simon and Nathan Williams and Ts Garrett Goebel and Johnathan Hankins
Simon and Hankins have All-America potential. Simon played a lot at tackle last season and finished with seven sacks, 16 tackles for loss, three pass breakups and 53 tackles. While he is on the small size (6-2/260), he has an unreal motor and seemingly always finds a way to muck things up. Hankins is a physical force who is at his best clogging the middle; he made 67 tackles last fall. Goebel returns for his second season as a starter. Williams, a good pass rusher, is coming off a knee injury that limited him to one game last season. Ohio State signed two five-star ends, Noah Spence and Adolphus Washington, and Spence has looked good in practice.
1. LSU
Likely starters: Es Barkevious Mingo and Sam Montgomery and Ts Anthony Johnson and Bennie Logan
This team is loaded with linemen, and as good as this group will be, it would've been even better had T Michael Brockers (a first-round pick by St. Louis) not turned pro early. The Mingo-Montgomery duo is excellent and could be the best in the nation; they combined for 17 sacks last season. Seniors Chancey Aghayere and Lavar Edwards are the top backups, and they have 15 career starts between them. Logan should be a force in the middle. Johnson is a former five-star recruit nicknamed “The Freak” for his athletic ability. Senior Josh Downs has played extensively in his career on some stout defenses – and he is LSU's fifth tackle.

Kolejne spotkanie z cyklu: utrzymajmy trend a bedzie dobrze ????

The top 10 linebacker units

10. Florida
Likely starters: Neiron Ball, Jon Bostic and Jelani Jenkins
Bostic, a senior, and Jenkins, a junior, have the talent to vie for All-SEC honors. The duo combined for 169 tackles last season and should get much closer to 200 this fall. Ball is a phenomenal story; he missed last season after undergoing brain surgery in March 2011. He has been cleared to play and has had a strong summer camp. Depth looks to be as good as it has been since 2009, when the Gators spent the bulk of the season ranked No. 1. Junior Darrin Kitchens, sophomore Michael Taylor and true freshman Antonio Morrison, who enrolled early, should see time. Taylor should be on the field a lot, depending on the alignment. Morrison is a big hitter.
9. Penn State
Likely starters: Glenn Carson, Gerald Hodges and Michael Mauti
Hodges is the standout. He was a reserve in 2010 but became a star last season. He had a team-leading 106 tackles, along with 10 tackles for loss. Carson is a steady hand who was fourth on the squad with 74 tackles. Mauti is a good one when healthy. He missed the 2009 season with a torn ACL in his right knee, played well in 2010, then played in just four games last season before suffering a torn ACL in his left knee. He looks to be 100 percent. Depth is fine.
8. Wisconsin
Likely starters: Ethan Armstrong, Chris Borland and Mike Taylor
Borland and Taylor are one of the best duos in the nation. They ranked 1-2 in the Big Ten in tackles, and combined for 293 stops and eight forced fumbles last season. Borland had 19 tackles for loss, and he and Taylor each had two interceptions. Armstrong, a junior, is a former walk-on who was awarded a scholarship earlier this week. He had offseason surgery on both hips and missed spring drills, but is said to be healthy now. A.J. Fenton provides solid depth.
7. Virginia Tech
Likely starters: Tariq Edwards, Jeron Gouveia-Winslow and Bruce Taylor
Taylor, a big-play guy, missed the last six games of last season as well as spring practice with a foot injury. If he is 100 percent healthy, he has All-America talent. Edwards is steady and should contend for all-league honors. Gouveia-Winslow, whose dad, Kurt, played linebacker in the NFL, also is returning from a foot injury. If he can't go, senior Alonzo Tweedy will start; he is quick if not big (6 feet 2/190 pounds). Jack Tyler and Chase Williams provide more depth.
6. USC
Likely starters: Dion Bailey, Lamar Dawson and Hayes Pullard
The Trojans received stellar play from Bailey and Pullard last season, when they were redshirt freshmen. They tied for the team lead with 81 tackles and added a combined six sacks, four pass breakups and two interceptions. Dawson, who started four times as a true freshman last season, will man the middle. Dawson, from Kentucky, is physical and aggressive. Depth is a concern, though redshirt freshman Anthony Sarao and true freshman Scott Starr look good.
5. Oregon
Likely starters: Kiko Alonso, Michael Clay and Boseko Lokombo
Clay and Alonso, assuming he can stay out of the doghouse, should be a dynamic duo. Clay had 102 tackles, two tackles, three sacks and 8.5 tackles for loss last season. He is undersized (5-11/219) but is speedy and has good instincts. Alonso (6-4/246) is a senior who has played in just 25 career games because of injuries and suspensions. He was the defensive MVP of the Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin. Lokombo, who was born in the Congo, is expected to be the third starter. He is athletic and has a knack for the big play. Depth looks good, too.
4. Alabama
Likely starters: Trey DePriest, Xzavier Dickson, Adrian Hubbard and Nico Johnson
The Tide lost three starting linebackers, including a first-rounder (Dont'a Hightower) and a second-rounder (Courtney Upshaw). But Alabama will be fine. Hubbard, an athletic sophomore, looks primed for a big season. DePriest, who is from Ohio, should be extremely steady. And C.J. Mosley, who won't start but should see more snaps than Johnson, has all-league talent. This is a deep and talented group; it's just not that experienced. Yet.
3. Michigan State
Likely starters: Denicos Allen, Max Bullough and Chris Norman
All three starters are back. Allen is coming off a big season, his first as a starter. He had 80 tackles and led the team with 11 sacks and 18.5 tackles for loss. Allen also had seven quarterback hurries and three pass breakups. Bullough is excellent against the run and led the Spartans with 89 tackles. Norman is heading into his third season as a starter; he has made 135 tackles in the past two seasons. There looks to be OK depth.
2. Stanford
Likely starters: Trent Murphy, Shayne Skov, A.J. Tarpley and Chase Thomas
Man, there is a ton of talent on The Farm. Stanford returns all four starters, but Jarek Lancaster will lose his job to Shayne Skov, who missed most of last season with a knee injury. Skov and Thomas, a pass-rush specialist, are one of the best linebacker duos in the nation. Skov is intense and instinctual, covers a lot of ground and hits a ton. Murphy, who lines up on the outside opposite Thomas, had 6.5 sacks last season. Depth is good, too.
1. Georgia
Likely starters: Michael Gilliard, Jarvis Jones, Alec Ogletree and Chase Vasser
Jones is Georgia's best player and might be the best pass rusher in the nation. He had 13.5 sacks and 19.5 tackles for loss last season, his first with the Bulldogs after transferring from USC. Also returning as starters are Alec Ogletree and Michael Gilliard. Chase Vasser will be the other starter, assuming he gets his job back when he returns from a two-game suspension. Sophomore Ramik Wilson and freshman Jordan Jenkins are vying for the early-season starts. Depth is excellent, to the point where two former starters, Amarlo Herrera and Christian Robinson, now are reserves.

W PHI - QB M.Kafka i DE J.Babin.
