IRLANDIA PÓŁNOCNA: 1/8 Puchar:
Bangor-Crusaders TYP 2 kurs 1,60 5/10 g.16.00
0:2 WIN
PS: W pierwszym spotkaniu lider 2 ligi podejmuje aktualnego lidera Premiership.
"It's a rest from the League this week as attention turns to the Irish Cup and a game against Bangor at the Bangor Fuels Arena. Bangor are certainly no strangers to Crusaders this season as they have played them twice in other cup competitions and unfortunately lost both. Crusaders will want to address this and come out victorious on Saturday but Bangor will of course be going for the treble and will want to take the scalp of Crusaders again.
Crusaders go into the game on the back of a ten match unbeaten run but cup
football can produce anything. They are without Declan Caddell who has started a three match ban so that wil mean Barry Molloy is likely to partner Richard Clarke in the centre of midfield. It should be a case of as you where once again for everyone else in the starting line up although Stephen Baxter may change a striker as he has been doing all season. Paul Leeman and Chris Morrow continue to train but are not ready yet for selection after injury. Crusaders will know exactly what Bangor are capable of having gone out of the League Cup and County Antrim Shield to them this season. They will know that this a cghance to avenge those defeats but more importantly progress in a competition they are capable of winning.
Bangor will be on a high knowing they have taken Crusaders twice this season and along with league form, they are currently top of the
Championship by four points, they will feel another win is not out of the question. Gareth Scates will send his side out to play their usual tempo but will have to do without top goalscorer Jordan Forsythe who is out injured. Crusaders know though that Bangor have firepower throughout the team and will be wary of the attacking style they have. Bangor have beaten other Premiership opposition already this season and ran Cliftonville close in the Shield Final so they will be no pushover at all."
A tak widzą w klubie z Bangor:
"Bangor might have beaten their Irish Cup opponents twice already this season, but manager Garth Scates and his staff know the size of the task facing them on Saturday. The Crues - presently topping the Premiership - will be looking to avenge those defeats which saw them knocked out of the League Cup and the County Antrim Shield.
With Jordan Owens and Paul Heatley piling on the goals for the visitors - they scored six without reply at home to Portadown without reply as Owens scored a hat-trick and Heatley two - though they struggled to find the net in a 1-1 draw at Dungannon last weekend - the Bangor defence are likely to be under pressure right from the off. And with Seasiders' ace goalscorer Jordan Forsythe out of the frame as he struggles to recover from his ankle injury, it looks like a massive ask for Bangor to make it a hat-trick of wins.
Certainly, there will be no doubting the effort put in by the Seasiders on Saturday in front of what will hopefully be a big crowd, with lots of atmosphere, and the team will have been prepared meticulously by the "backrom staff"."
