O przejściu do Vikings mówiło się od dawna , a od momentu jak Brad Childress opuścił Eagles w 2006 roku , dla przypomnienia McNabb był graczem Orłów od 1999 roku do 2010.
Manager Vikings będzie miał wybór pomiędzy nim , a wybranym w drafcie QB Christianem Ponderem.
Aby go przyjąć , kontrakt McNabba z Redskins został nieco zrestrukturyzowany , ponieważ Vikings nie ma tyle pieniędzy w budżecie.

Nnamdi Asomugha podpisał 5 letni kontrakt z Philadelphią Eagles. Wartość kontraktu to 60mln $, z czego kwota gwarantowana to 25 mln $.
Do tej pory mówiło się o zainteresowaniu Jets, Niners, Texans i Cowboys. Z tej grupy najbliżej Aso byli Jets.

College Top 5 Offensive Backfields
5. Boise State

Senior QB Kellen Moore is heading into his fourth season as the Broncos' starter, and he is 38-2 at the controls. He is No. 2 among active quarterbacks with 10,867 yards and 99 TDs. Perhaps the most impressive stat: He has thrown just 19 interceptions in 1,219 attempts. He has completed 68.2 percent of his career attempts and has a passer efficiency rating of 166.7; the record is 175.6, by Oklahoma's Sam Bradford (2007-09). Boise State also has some dangerous running backs, in particular Doug Martin. He ran for 1,260 yards and 12 touchdowns last season and has 27 rushing scores in the past two seasons. Martin also has played defense and plays with toughness. D.J. Harper, who has missed most of the past two seasons with knee injuries, is back and healthy; he was injured in Game 3 both seasons.

4. Texas A&M

Senior Ryan Tannehill has started just six games at quarterback, but he played like a seasoned veteran down the stretch last season. He has a great understanding of the offense and does a good job avoiding mistakes. He threw for 1,638 yards and 13 TDs in seven games last season. He is helped out by a superb duo at tailback - Cyrus Gray and Christine Michael. They combined for 1,764 and 16 TDs last season, though Michael missed the final five games of the season with a broken leg. Both have excellent speed and can score from anywhere. Gray ran for 100 yards in each of A&M's final seven games last season, scoring 10 TDs in that stretch. He also is an excellent receiver.

3. Wisconsin

QB Russell Wilson's decision to become a Badger is big - as in Wisconsin lineman big. The Badgers haven't had a quarterback of his ilk of late, and Wilson hasn't worked with a rushing attack anything close to as good as Wisconsin's will be. Wilson has thrown for 8,545 career yards, which is fourth-most among active quarterbacks. He also has thrown 76 TDs and just 26 picks. Wisconsin might have the best tailback tandem in the nation in James White and Montee Ball, who combined for 2,008 yards and 32 TDs despite also sharing carries with 1,000-yard rusher John Clay.

2. Stanford

Junior QB Andrew Luck is the best player in the nation and heads into the season as the Heisman front-runner. He will be a third-year starter for the Cardinal, and after serving as a caretaker of sorts in 2009, he was allowed to air it out a lot more last season and responded to the increased workload. He threw for 3,338 yards, 32 TDs and just eight picks, completed 70.7 percent of his passes and guided Stanford to 12 wins. He then stunned almost everybody by deciding to remain in school. Luck has good mobility and is a running threat. The Cardinal's main threat, though, is junior TB Stepfan Taylor, who ran for 1,137 yards and 15 TDs last season. He's a good receiver, as well.

1. Oregon

In junior TB LaMichael James, the Ducks might have the nation's most explosive player. James ran for 1,731 yards and 20 TDs in 2010. A sprinter on Oregon's track team, James had 15 plays of at least 20 yards last season, including 11 runs of at least 30 yards and eight of at least 40. James had a play that covered at least 31 yards in eight games. Backup Kenjon Barner ran for 551 yards and six TDs, and redshirt freshman TB Lache Seastrunk arrived with a ton of hype. There's also dual-threat QB Darron Thomas. He rushed for 486 yards and five scores, and threw for 2,881 yards and 30 TDs, with nine picks. He threw a TD pass in every game and tossed at least three five times.

Zapowiada się kolejny niezły sezon zwycięzców sprzed dwóch lat. Drużynę wzmocniono zarówno ofensywnie (RB Mark Ingram + RB Darren Sproles - obaj świetnie pasują do koncepcji ofensywnej Sean Paytona), jak i defensywnie. Świetny draft, w którym wybrano solidnych zawodników - DE Cameron Jordan, RB Mark Ingram, LB Martez Wilson, DE Greg Romeus - wszyscy byli świetnymi zawodnikami na poziomie NCAA i wszyscy mają spory potencjał do zagospodarowania. Trzeba wspomnieć, że defense Sainst był jednym z najlepszych w lidze a nowe nabytki mogą sprawić, że będzie jeszcze lepszy. Dodatkowo zakontraktowano NT Aubrayo Franklina z 49ers, co jest ogromnym nabytkiem jeśli chodzi o defense vs. run.
Kalendarz też nie jest zbyt wymagający, choć na kalendarz trzeba patrzeć z przymrużeniem oka, bowiem nigdy nie wiadomo, kto kiedy wystrzeli, kto kiedy zgaśnie, kto się pojawi na ten sezon, a komu się nie będzie chciało etc. Jeśli dobrze pójdzie, to Saints mogą zacząć sezon najbiedniej od bilansu 7-2, mając 4 z ostatnich 7 spotkań u siebie i na pierwszy rzut oka poza Giants, Falcons i Titans, pozostałe drużyny nie powinny zagrozić Świętym w osiągnięciu przynajmniej 10 zwycięstw. Jeśli miałbym być szczery, to na pierwszy rzut oka widzę tylko 2 ewentualne porażki Saints - w Green Bay na otwarcie (choć bilans ATS zwycięzców Super Bowl w pierwszych meczach nowego sezonu wygląda tragicznie) i w Atlancie + można sobie zostawić jak zawsze jakieś 2 wtopy na rezerwie - tak czy siak z rezerwą zostaje nam 12 zwycięstw.

College Top 7 Receivers corps
7.Michigan

Roy Roundtree is coming off a 72-catch, 935-yard season, but he was overshadowed - as was everybody else on the Wolverines' roster - by QB Denard Robinson last season. Michigan also returns WRs Darryl Stonum, Junior Hemingway and Martavious Odoms, as well as TE Kevin Koger, who should become a bigger weapon on the revamped offense.

6.Michigan State

The Spartans' receiving corps is just a bit better than their in-state rival's, though leading receiver Mark Dell is gone. No matter - B.J. Cunningham had one fewer reception that Dell last season but caught three more TD passes (nine to six). Keshawn Martin is a burner who should have a bigger role this season, and converted QB Keith Nichol is a solid No. 3 guy. In addition, the Spartans might have the best tight end trio of anybody with Garrett Celek, Brian Linthicum and Dion Sims.

5. Texas A&M

The Aggies' backfield gets most of the notice, which suits this group just fine. Jeff Fuller is a big-time wide receiver, though he is overshadowed in the Big 12 by Justin Blackmon and Ryan Broyles. Fuller caught 12 TD passes last season and was the first Aggies receiver in history with a 1,000-yard season. Ryan Swope tied Fuller for the team lead with 72 receptions but is more of a possession guy. There's also Uzoma Nwachukwu, who is a dangerous No. 3 receiver. Kenric McNeal is another weapon. A&M also has a solid group of tight ends.

4.Oklahoma State

Blackmon is the best receiver in the nation and is coming off a monster season - 111 receptions for 1,782 yards (16.1 ypc) and 20 TDs. He was the Big 12 offensive player of the year and won the Biletnikoff Award as the nation's best receiver. Josh Cooper is a dangerous No. 2 guy; he had 68 receptions last season. Senior Hubert Anyiam never has quite lived up to billing, but he still has the physical tools to be a 45-catch guy. He was hampered by an ankle injury last season.

3.Arizona

Three guys with at least 44 catches return, plus the Wildcats add touted Texas transfer Dan Buckner. The go-to guy is Juron Criner, who had 82 receptions and 11 TDs last season. He's a big-time deep threat and has great size (6-4/210). David Douglas was the second-leading receiver last season, and he's a good route-runner and possession guy. David Roberts is the third member of the 44-catch club from last season. Buckner is another big receiver (6-4/220), and if he can maintain his consistency and effort, he could catch 60 passes in this offense. Terrence Miller is another returnee, and he had 29 receptions last season. Arizona is breaking in a new tight end, but because the receiving corps is so deep, an untested tight end really doesn't matter.

2. Oklahoma

Ryan Broyles led the nation with 131 receptions last season, which were good for 1,622 yards and 14 scores. He surprise more than a few people by returning for his senior season. He's not a blazer, but he's plenty fast and also shifty. Kenny Stills was ultra-productive as a true freshman, with 61 catches and five TDs. He's more physical than Broyles. Trey Franks was another true freshman who performed well last season, with 29 catches. He should be the No. 3 guy this season. TE James Hanna had just 18 catches, but he averaged 16.2 yards per catch and scored seven times.

1. Arkansas

The Hogs return their top four wide receivers; three of them started at least five games. The one that didn't was Joe Adams - and he might be the best of the quartet. Those top four receivers are back - Adams, Greg Childs, Cobi Hamilton and Jarius Wright - combined for 170 receptions for 2,890 yards and 23 TDs even though Childs missed six games with a knee injury. All but Childs caught a pass covering at least 85 yards last season. The Hogs will miss TE D.J. Williams, but with this much talent at wide receiver, it won't matter that much

nikt kluczowy z drużyny Ravens nie odszedł - Mason już rok temu chciał kończyć karierę, Heap przestał być istotnym zawodnikiem, odkąd więcej czasu spędzał u lekarz niż na boisku, a McGahee był tylko third downerem i dostawał od czasu do czasu goal line'y.
Wrócił Marshall Yanda, na TE jest bardzo dobry Dennis Pitta z Penn State, Flacco dodał masy w offseason, Torrey Smith może być niezłym slot receiverem ze swoją szybkością i wreszcie będzie jakiś deep threat dla Flacco, jest inny WR Tandon Doss z Indiany - extra kick returner. Pracują nad Malcolmem Floydem. A na deser prawdziwa wisienka - Vonta Leach z Texans, fullback o którym mówi się, że jest liniowym na pozycji full backa. Mason może wróci za minimum. Żadnych osłabień nie ma.

College Top 10 Offensive line
10. LSU

Four starters are back, and though no Tigers linemen are going to contend for All-America honors, this nevertheless is a solid - and physical - unit. Consider that LSU rushed for 185.7 yards per game last season despite an inept passing attack, and you realize these guys can shove some folks around.

9.Clemson

The Tigers lose all-conference T Chris Hairston, but this remains a good group. Four starters return, headed by junior C Dalton Freeman and senior T Landon Walker. In all, Tigers linemen have made 118 career starts. Clemson has changed coordinators, and you have to think Chad Morris will know how to take advantage of his big guys up front.

8.Virginia Tech

Here's another ACC line that returns four starters - and all four are seniors. The Hokies rushed for almost 200 yards per game last season, and while they had talented tailbacks, the big men up front had something to do with that as well. G Jaymes Brooks and T Blake DeChristopher are the standouts. DeChristopher is entering his fourth season as a starter, and he and fellow starting T Andrew Lanier are fifth-year seniors. DeChristopher has a strained pectoral muscle that could cause him to miss the start of the season.

7.Ohio State

The Buckeyes may have the best lineman in the nation in senior T Mike Adams, who has been suspended for the first five games for his role in "Tattoo-gate." Senior C Michael Brewster also will challenge for All-America honors. They are two of Ohio State's three returning starters. Both starting guards are new, but sophomores Corey Linsley and Jack Mewhort have the potential to eventually be All-Big Ten honorees

6.Missouri

Four starters return, and as with Clemson, they are all seniors. Ts Dan Hoch and Elvis Fisher are the standouts. Mizzou linemen have a combined 105 career starts, and that includes new starting C Travis Ruth, who started once last season, at guard. Missouri is breaking in a new quarterback, James Franklin, but coaches are breathing easier because the guys in front of Franklin sure know what they are doing.

5.Iowa

As sure as there is corn in the fields in the state, Iowa is going to have a big-time offensive line. Junior T Riley Reiff is a potential All-American, and he is one of three returning starters for the Hawkeyes. Neither guard technically is a returning starter, but Adam Gettis and Nolan MacMillan started eight games between them but also missed a combined 12 games with injuries. MacMillan has All-Big Ten potential.

4.Miami

Given Miami's depth at tailback, its strong offensive line and quarterbacks who throw picks seemingly as often as a typical person draws a breath, you'd think the new UM staff would rely heavily on the ground game this fall. Junior G Brandon Washington is an absolute road-grader and he might be the best offensive lineman in the ACC. He is one of four returning starters for Miami. The new staff loves redshirt freshman T Malcolm Bunche, who actually was listed above freshman All-America Seantrel Henderson at left tackle out of spring ball. The Palm Beach (Fla.) Post reported this week that Henderson could undergo back surgery and may miss the entire season. If Henderson does miss a significant portion of the season, Miami should probably drop a few spots in these rankings

3.Wisconsin

A few teams back, we mentioned that solid Iowa offensive lines were as prevalent as corn in that state. Well, in Wisconsin, it's a toss-up on whether the state has more cows or huge offensive linemen. True, the Badgers lost T Gabe Carimi, who might have been the best lineman in the nation last season, and G John Moffit, who made some All-America teams himself. But three starters are back, and the two new guys will just be taken right off that o-line assembly line that has been constructed in Madison. C Peter Konz and G Kevin Zeitler are the guys who should vie for postseason honors this season, and T Ricky Wagner - who began his career as a walk-on - is another guy to watch.

2.Oklahoma State

Last year at this time, some folks were panicking because the Cowboys had four new starters along the line. Those people shouldn't have been worried: A rebuilt line paved the way for an offense that averaged 520.2 yards and 44.2 points per game - the conference's best in both categories. This season, all five starters are back, and the unquestioned star is senior T Levy Adcock, a former recruiting afterthought who was a first-team All-Big 12 selection last season. He should contend for All-America honors this fall. Gs Lane Taylor and Jonathan Rush are other potential All-Big 12 guys.

5. Nebraska

Jared Crick isn't as good as former running mate Ndamukong Suh - few are - but Crick is a star in his own right and will contend for All-America notice. E Cameron Meredith has the potential for an All-Big Ten season. T Baker Steinkuhler is another returning starter. Any team coached by Bo Pelini is going to put on emphasis on strong line play.

4. Ohio State

The Buckeyes will mss E Cameron Heyward, but this should be a stout unit. John Simon isn't overly big (6-2/270), but he's quick, strong and smart, and can play tackle and end. E Nathan Williams is being counted upon to provide a consistent pass rush; he led the team with 4.5 last season but needs to bump that up to around nine or 10 this season. There is a nice group of youngsters at tackle, including sophomores Garrett Goebel and Johnathan Hankins, a wide-body who should become a big-time run-stuffer.

3. South Carolina

The Gamecocks were stingy against the run and got after the passer last season, and it all starts up front with T Travian Robertson and E Devin Taylor. Both should contend for All-SEC honors. E Melvin Ingram also returns; he was third in the league with nine sacks last season despite being a reserve. But all eyes will be on true freshman E Jadeveon Clowney, the nation's No. 1 recruit. He had an amazing 29 sacks last season, and his ability go get to the passer means he will see time this fall. Ultimately, though, it's how he holds up against the run that will determine how much playing time he gets.

2. North Carolina

Last year at this time, there was much hand-wringing because the Tar Heels were going to have to play the 2009 season without their two best linemen, E Robert Quinn and T Marvin Austin (Quinn ended up being a first-round pick, while Austin went in the second round). It didn't matter as Quinton Coples and Donte Paige-Moss stepped up. Coples is a natural end but had to play inside, where he turned in a magnificent season (59 tackles, 10 sacks, 12 quarterback hurries). Paige-Moss had seven sacks at end. This season, Coples is back at end, and it wouldn't be a surprise if he and Paige-Moss combined for at least 20 sacks. T Tydreke Powell is another who should contend for All-ACC honors. Jordan Nix and Sylvester Williams will battle for the starting spot at the other tackle.

1. Florida State

The Seminoles were lax at times against the run, especially in the second half of the season, but they had a fierce pass rush (48 sacks) and all but one of the top eight linemen returns. E Brandon Jenkins had 13.5 sacks and did a nice job against the run, as well. There will be a solid five-man rotation at tackle, headed by junior Jacobbi McDaniel, and the good news for coaches is that none of that quintet is a senior. Depth at end isn't as good, but with Jenkins getting so much attention from opposing blockers, you have to figure the other ends are only going to have to beat one man to get to the opposing quarterback.
